Will someone please wake up the music media? I’ve been waiting, in vain it seems, for a frontline music publication to pay attention and connect the dots of Madonna’s marketing campaign for the MDNA project. It might as well have been titled, “Going After Gaga”.
Lord knows there are enough dots…
Let me tell you what I think about this Madonna Vs. Lady Gaga thing:
Madonna is the Queen, supreme, untouchable. Or used to be untouchable…
She is been the best performer and most inteligent media persona for DECADES. Yes, she supported gay rights before Gaga did, she talked about religion before Gaga did, and she encouraged us being ourselves before Gaga did.
Madonna is like 54 years old? Gaga is a half of it, or less.
And Gaga was the first one who said Madonna was the best and the biggest inspiration of all to her.
So, Lady Gaga is being the best singer, writer, the best videos and the most INSANE songs and Im loving it! A new record at every breath! People LOVE Gaga, or love to hate her.
I’ve been a Madonna fan since I was 15 (Im 30 now), but she is so nonsense and rude about Gaga.. its making me not like her, and I thought this would be impossible!
She is, clearly, desperate about the the influence, talent, and power of this young crazy and fierce Lady Gaga.
Not to mention the obsession of Madonna about the Born This Way / Express Yourself copy zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz (shame on you about the mash up with “She is Not Me, what fuck have you became into? An Eminem? A Lil Kim?)
MADONNA, GET OVER IT, PLEASE! ITS GETTING SO BORING! GET BACK TO YOUR THRONE, AND PLEASE BE CONCIOUS THAT YOU’RE GETTING OLDER AND SOMEDAY SHE WILL BE THE QUEEN.
And yes , you’re right she is not you. She is being classy about your delusional provocations.
